We had planned to visit the resurrected Teeside Air Show but sadly it was postponed. As we had all set aside some Porsche time it seemed a shame to waste it, so a hastily arranged route was cobbled together for a run through Weardale. We met at Woolsingham, not quite knowing how many cars would turn up. In the end 7 of us headed through Weardale , via Alston to Hartside, then on to Sally’s in Warwick Bridge for a bite to eat, and back to the North East along the Military Road. Spur of the moment events often turn out to be good ones.
