Cars and coffee in aid of The Cancer Fund for Children
To celebrate the start of our 2024 Drive Season.
R27 visit the Classic and Sports Car Show in Slieve Donard hotel, Newcastle, in support of Cancer Research UK
We held an autumnal Cars and Coffee event and welcomed several new members.
R27 explored the Antrim Coast Road and the Glens.
As part of the worldwide celebrations commemorating the 60th anniversary of the iconic 911, Porsche Centre Belfast hosted an informal drop-in day and R27 members joined them.
Region 27 members took in the Spelga Dam and the breathtaking Mourne coastal route.
R27 members visited Downpatrick and County Down Railway for an unusual day out, led by Gary Haddock.
Our June club drive was to Portglenone Marina and the Glens of Country Antrim.
Our annual ‘Festival of Porsche’ was held at the Stormont Classic Car Show in association with Dollingstown Classic Car Club. The event supported two very deserving charities: Nipanc and Action Cancer.
Gary Haddock took Region 27 members down the coastline to Kircubbin.
2023 Weekend of the Year
Gary Haddock organised the opening season event in the Montalto Estate.
Region 27 members took some time out to relax over coffee and mince pies at our last meeting of 2022.
In our final drive of the season, 35 cars visited Dungannon Park in County Tyrone, finishing with lunch in Cookstown.
As a thank-you for having joined PCGB Region 27, we invited new members to an exclusive 'cars ’n’ coffee' event at Ireland's oldest independent brewery.
26 members enjoyed a drive in the Glens of Antrim around Slemish Mountain, followed by lunch at the Halfway House Hotel in Ballygally. We rounded the day off with a drive down the scenic Antrim Coast Road.
We headed to the stunning north coast to enjoy the views from Binevenagh across to Donegal.
Region 27 members visited the ‘Orchard County’ of Co.Armagh, stopping at Gosford Forest Park and finishing off the day with lunch at the Armagh City Hotel.
In the evening, around 40 guests enjoyed our event dinner at the Titanic Hotel in Belfast.
On day three, it was a ‘right royal occasion’ with out static display at Hillsborough Castle. Around 80 members and guests brought along more than 50 cars for display.
In another ‘first’, our four-day festival – the largest ever held in the Region – began with a drive to the north coast. Lunch was at the Causeway Hotel, followed by a ‘brisk’ walk to the stones!
Around 30 cars took to the track on a day of wet and not-so-wet conditions. Special thanks go to Paul Grainger from the Clubhouse who managed the event, and to our friends from Porsche Club Ireland for their support.
For the first time in the Club’s 60-year history, the PCGB Board came to Belfast to hold the final full Board meeting ahead of the AGM and election of directors.
