After investing so much in time (20 months), money (enough to buy a much newer 911) and emotion, I will try my best to use the car daily for the whole summer. Yesterday I was very busy driving, a friend (long term owner of the brown 912E in the foreground) took this quick photo of the two '76 cars together. If this car was manufactured in July 1975 as a RHD then it will be a 1975 model - the 1976 model began in August 1975. The 911S model ceased production at the end of the 1975 year, for 1976 there was the 911, Carrera 3.0 and the Turbo - no 911S I'm afraid, only in the USA. Peter Hello Peter You are 100% correct. 9116300772 left the factory in July 1975 - and was registered in January 1st 1976 according to the V5. This is why I refer to it as a 1976 car.
