Hello. I am new to the Club, but not Porsche ownership. My brother has a 993. Question about 991.1 - especially Carrera 4, please: Is Sports Chrono essential when buying the car? Follow up question: any thoughts on the 991.1 Carrera 4, at RSJ? Thanks. Alister.

Sports Chrono is an option which, like so many things in Porsche World, is seen as 'essential' by some and totally superfluous by others.
The key thing is to establish how important it might be to you and to make sure when comparing cars that you factor the difference in value.
The RSJ car looks very nice and is priced well. It hasn't got 'SC' but then it's not an 'S' either - both things that some will consider 'essential'.

Looks nice low mileage car at rsj
has sports exhaust which is more imp to me than chrono
butbit also doesn’t have sports plus seats with extra side bolsters
this is a deal breaker for me but may not be for you
