Bonnet won’t open, dead battery , I have tried jump post in fuse box

Hi
i have a 991.1 2014.

flat battery. Tried to use the red post for in the fuse box and it won’t pop open.

power back is good and earth is good.

I am a bit stuck now.


appreciate any ideas.

Not sure if it will help.
I had the exactly same panic, tried the trickle charger and didn't allow the bonnet to open.
Waited an hour for the battery to get a bit if charge. The opener on the drivers door plate didn't work but the remote key did.
When it happened again, used a spare motofrbike battery jumped. Worked perfectly immediately.

Try the key ..had the same issue on my 987 Spyder years ago forgot to set the trickle charger at car mode ... floor switch did not open it buy key did ,make sure the donor battery has loads of life in it .I keep my cars in garage and on chargers but do not close the bonnets remove the interior light bulb not that would draw much power ?...

seems the pack i was using needed to detect a small amount of current to operate. battery was so flat it couldnt. put a 12v direct onto the points and bonnett popped fine. thanks for the replies.
