Hi All,

I have a 991.2 GTS and notice that the tappets are noisy when the car is started and this carry's on for quite a while afterwards.
The dealer says this is normal and all the GTS's sound like this.
Anybody have the same experience or suggestions if this is correct

Cheers Phil

My 991.2 S4 also has this affliction when cold however when warmed up the noise goes away. ??

I have a 991.2S and it does the same. Takes a few minutes to go away at idle revs. I try to be very gentle with it until oil is up near the 90C
