Porsche dawn in the Trossachs

Being an old geezer I tend to prefer forums as a means of sharing information and pics.  Seems that club and other meets come and go  and others pass without a pic or hardly a mention as to how it was enjoyed, unless of course they are all posted on the Twittersphere or other such media sources which I am not connected to..?
On the lack of pics, no point in complaining and not posting pics myself..?   I like to head out on good weather weekends around dawn to find my favoured routes generally free of traffic, and now that misty Mornings have returned to the scene, I headed out this morning and took my camera along for the ride. Grabbed a few pics and home in time for breakfast, what`s more to want..?

Mark,my only claim to fame is that I was the first person to drive a 993 over the Dukes Pass... I also drove the Picos on my way back home from Los Romanes, though in an old open top V8 sports car with my good lady..Also used to join up with the IAM motorcycle guys 20 years or so ago, for rides over here in the West... So quite a bit of synergy going on there.. (-:
Chappelle, I am pleased you liked the pic and are appreciative of my 991, I am fond of it too..(-:  Looking at your list of past cars, a neighbour recently sold his two GTR`s one of which was a limited edition Nurburg related model. I knew nothing of Skylines and the name Nissan  did not conjure up much in my imagination until I heard the engine and asked to look under the bonnet..!   The engine in the later of the two editions was signed by the chap who built it.. I think I have seen that engine signing practice somewhere before... (-:    On Lotus... I had a few sheds which I rebuilt, the first was an old tart that had been around the track a few times, loved and lost it,  but then who can forget their first Lotus.. (-:
pwebb,  dawn drives are no problem for me, less so at this time of year when sun up in these parts tends to be circa 06:00 hrs. Around mid summer it hardly gets dark in good weather and circa 04:00 hrs is nearer sunrise, I have done a few of those too... The advantage of an early start can be  the tourist buses, camper vans and cyclists are still in their beds, leaving the road virtually free of traffic, however one has to maintain a weather eye for deer and other forms of wildlife.  Re: the pattern on the bonnet on the drive there were quite a few notable temperature changes when driving in and out of the sun and mist over the hills and through the glens. I did drive close to a place called Bearsden, thus the pattern may have been caused by some sort of invisible lightweight  giant three toed bear....  though best watch what I type before the fake news brigade pick up on it and the tourist traffic increases in the Trossachs to that along the lines of the attraction to Loch Ness and the Monster that lives there   ROFL.
