Fancy a pleasant day out in the company of fellow petrolheads?

lx0wkFY.jpg

Then why not come along to Braunton Wheels on Sunday 31st July?

It's a lovely little motor show featuring everything there is on wheels. https://brauntoncaenrotary.co.uk/braunton-wheels

We could put together a nice little display of R15 Porsches to be admired. This annual event is organised by Braunton Caen Rotary Club, is always popular and well supported. All revenues raised go towards good causes too. ????

If there's sufficient interest, I may be able to arrange a lunch at Braunton's award winning chippie or else I can arrange a short drive in the countryside after the event, stopping for a noggin and natter in a rural pub somewhere if that is preferred.

Post here if you fancy it and we'll go from there.

Regards,

Clive

Great news Steve.
If you follow the link in my previous post you can register with the organisers as an exhibitor. [;)]
Perhaps you can confirm when you've done this, please.

Excellent news, Steve.
Should be a good day out - particularly if the sunny weather holds up. ??
What car are you bringing?

Regards,

Clive

Hi Clive.
I will be bringing my 1990 964 cabriolet. Had it since 2015. Bought it from Adrian Crawford. Have done much restoration work over the past years: New hood by Southbound, full engine rebuild by Ashley at Braunton Engineering, full glass out, body disassembled respray by Paddy at All Smart, Barnstaple, plus goodness knows how many minor improvements!!

Only 3 members so far and one of those lives outside R15 area and has to travel several hundred miles to be here.

I would have hoped there would be a bit more support for an event in the North of our Region as a chance to kick start some more action in this area.

So come on guys and gals!! Enjoy a day out and experience some good ol' North Devonian hospitality and fellowship! [:)]

https://brauntoncaenrotary.co.uk/braunton-wheels It's 3 quid to enter BTW - which all goes to charity. Bit steep I know, but dig deep - it'll be well worth it! ??

Clive

British Hillclimb Championship at Wiscombe Park on that weekend will keep some members fully occupied![:)]
