ScroungerRe PPF, I would strongly recommend having what is called a Track Package installed. This consists of bumper, wings, side skirts, wing mirrors and the back of rear arches. Should cost around £1500. If your OPC offers it, chances are they will outsource it. Depending on where you live, try and find your own based on reviews on here and other forums. Ceramic coating, including a single stage polish, should cost around £600. One thing to note and not be overly concerned about is that this engine will drink oil. I've just ticked over 6000 miles and have added about a litre of oil if not a tad more. Nothing to be overly concerned about, it's just a characteristic of the engine. Tyres: I've said this before on another thread (maybe even this one), the PZ4s are not that bad. I've had PS4Ss on a previous Cayman and they were very good and now have PZ4s on the GTS. For me on fast roads, I really can't tell the difference. My only gripe is the rim protection on the rears, or lack of it. For this reason alone, I'll probably swap out the PZ4s for the PS4S however, some on Rennlist have been changing to the GT4 tyre sizes which gives an ideal amount of rim protection for not much more money. Not too sure why Porsche put so much stretch on the rears.
ScroungerList price for that is £92932 plus first reg and delivery so about right however it's already registered and classed as used. It'll sell if someone doesn't want to wait.
JurassicGTS Quite a few coming to the market. Bolton have a lovely specced one in with PCCBs and bucket seats at a great price, but couldn't live with Python Green.
JurassicGTS Leeds Shark Blue 😍😍, I would have flown back from my Spanish vacation and bought it, but it has the basic headlights not PDSLs and they were dreadful in my first Macan, so a deal breaker☹

I thought that about Python when I got mine, but we had no choice, it was the only new BGT 4.0 available to buy from a showroom anywhere in the UK. It was take the Python green one, or wait two years or buy used at overs. But now I love it; it gets compliments from strangers and passers by! (It can however look grim in photos)The Bolton car is a funny spec though, buckets and PCCBs speak of serious performance intention but then its been specified with the -10mm comfort suspension setting? Makes no sense. Porsche should be ashamed of fitting them

Porsche should be ashamed of fitting them You’re right.. they’re not great. Easy enough to upgrade the basic 25W to 35W though and that really does make a difference. Saying that, the LED PDSL+ I had in my Macan weren’t all that clever (the auto dip function was hopeless to say the least) - nowhere near as good in comparison with the Matrix lights offered on the 992, Panamera etc. I even had those in my Audi RS3 for goodness sakes! I like the Shark Blue car at Leeds but I’d rather 18-way seats to be honest. The Acid Green car at Cambridge looks rather nice though…
WollemiAs Big Col correctly says the advice about running in is hidden in “same driving pleasure, more safety” in the Good to Know app. It is also on page 12 of the paper manual when you eventually receive it.it states In a new vehicle, the moving parts first have to be run in with each other. The first 3,000 km (1,865 miles) are required for this. The oil and fuel consumption may be somewhat higher than normal during this time. Drive as follows during the running-in period: ▸Preferably take longer trips. If possible, avoid frequent cold starts with short distances. ▸Do not participate in motor racing events, sports driving schools, or similar. ▸Avoid high speeds of over 4,000 revolutions per minute. Drive at low speeds when the engine is cold.It is important to note the advice to avoid short trips. Basically don’t do any journeys on which the oil doesn’t get to full temperature. It is also very important not to let the engine run too slowly. It’s better to be spinning at 2,500 than trying to pull from low revs. In a PDK car this may well need you to use the gearbox manually to use a lower gear. Some experts do consider that stay under 4,000 for the entire 1865 miles is over simplified and a ramping up regime is preferable, but ONLY starting once the car has travelled 1000 miles at less than 4,000rpm. something likeup to 1000 miles 4000rpm up to 1200 miles 5000 rpmup to 1400 miles 6000 rpmup to 1600 miles 7000 rpm during this ramping up period the excursions beyond 4,000 should be brief. Sustained high rev running should wait until after the 1865 mark. Enjoy your new car!you will find out that you can still travel very quickly without using more than 4,000!Apply yourself and get those 1865 miles done as quickly as possible.
JurassicGTSI was under the impression it was a costly job to upgrade from 25w to 35w Xenons
