Hi there
I have had a GTechniq Ceramic Coating from new and it has done a wonderful job keeping the car looking great.
However, a few months ago while drying the car I spotted some brown splashes just in front of the rear wheel that hadn't washed off. They didn't respond to further washing and toothbrush scrubbing or to the Tar Remover that was supplied when I bought my earlier 997, nor to any other agents that I could think of; White Spirit, Lemon Juice, acetone etc.
I spoke to a very helpful guy at GTechniq who suggested their own Tar and Glue Remover which I bought - but to no effect. I gave up. It's not a bad splash and most people wouldn't notice it.
However, when we got the "roadmap" from Boris, I got the car out and of course the first thing I noticed was the splashes!
They are small light brown and are thin so don't show up on a photo. I certainly don't think they are tar, there's no depth or "stickyness" to them.
I'd welcome any suggestions on what I could try next.
Thanks
