Have you wrapped your car?

I've found a car that I'm interested in. It has a great specification but there is one problem, the colour.

I was wondering whether anyone had wrapped their 991, who did it, any problems, the cost, and time taken.

Anyone?

Off to the dark side then David, eh?. [:D] Replacing or retaining the Macan?
What is the current colour yo'ure looking to replace?
Personally, I've seen some pretty dire attempts at wrapping TBA, but willing to concede a top notch job would probably be OK - albeit expensive - £3k or more maybe?
Regards,

Clive

I have not had my 911 wrapped to change the colour but have the car wrapped in PPF. The detailer I have have used does some amazing wrapped cars . He is so meticulous in the operation, looking at the photos on his Facebook page. He actually disassemble the car! Also he is not too far from you being located in Lincoln https://www.facebook.com/officialdeepshinedetail/ If you call him I am sure he will provide you a quote!

Does half wrapped count? I appreciate this is at the other extreme end of what you're looking at and I'm not suggesting this as an option but I did mine myself. Bought the 3M vinyl online, treated myself to a hair drier and a few hours on the internet watching how to videos. Most of it was easy enough with the bumpers causing most the headaches and 3 years later it still looks great.

not wrapped and not tempted to myself but know a couple of folks who have done and have seen theirs up close - one is a nice job and the other is rough. for the money it costs I'm not tempted.
the down side is stone chips or scratches - they can't be touched up and leave ugly unsightly tears or holes in the wrap with the original colour showing through and you can't paint them. looks good for a short while if done right but...

Yep I've heard a lot of good things about Adi @ Deepshine, not far down the road from me.
He does go that extra mile when disassembling parts to get them JUST right.

Another place to consider if Mansfield is not too far out of your way is speaking to Paul Walker at PW Pro

Hes a pro detailer and does wrapping.

Adi @ Deepshine did do a Range Rove in metallic deep blue wrap from white pain, and on top of the wrap he also applied PPF film to protect the wrap on the front, not a particular cheap option but it would maintain the wrap. https://www.facebook.com/officialdeepshinedetail/posts/3321441871249017. Adi detailed my 911 last year and I was very happy with the work. Its his own business so the takes a real pride in his work.

Exactly - its Adi's reputation - hence why you got a great job.
Nice to hear you were happy with the work Carlton

Hi James , Adi did brilliant job definitely going back when required. https://www.facebook.com/officialdeepshinedetail/posts/3231646310228574 I also had my rear wheel hubs resprayed, as some rust was coming through.

I've spoke to him on DetailingWorld.co.uk a few times and he's said pop in for a coffee next time I'm driving past and I've never got round to it.

I do all my own detailing, paint correction and coating on my own cars, not a pro, just a seasoned enthusiast.
I've got a couple of different machines, keeps me occupied when the weathers nice.

I'm about 20mins away from his place, when lockdowns finished will have to try and meet up with a few of you guys
