Morning

I have just recieved my tracker fobs for my car and need to ask if what im told is correct.

Ive spoken to Porsche Leeds and they tell me it will take an hour to set up ( at a cost ) and then Vodafone will charge me nearly £300 per year for the privilage []

Is this correct? seems a little pricy.

Yep, or. you could ask you insurance company how much they want to not have a tracker..... I would bet its less than £300. The main win however is that you don't need to carry the fob about with you.

That’s what I’m paying and that’s the price for enjoying the very best of Porsche, normal 911’s (If I dare to use that term) are amazing, the GT cars are on another level altogether. unfortunately on another level of expense too.

I’ve got the fobs as I have had on my last six porsche.
theyre in a drawer in my study.
i wouldn’t want my car back if it’s been nicked and insurance doesn’t require it.
if it was a speedster I’d def have it set up !

Scorpion are much less per year. Approved by insurers. Also if you plan to keep the car longer-term you can pay a discounted rate for lifetime cover.

Would using Scorpion invalidate warranty ?
