Sheffield Trophy

Awarded to the Region which has consistently delivered a full and complete programme of events for its members, including regular meetings, a WOTY or similar (an extended drive of two days or more); has taken positive steps to increase membership; and has promoted national events. The top three Region emerging from the annual Membership Survey automatically went forward to be included in this category.

The response in this category was outstanding and accordingly the panel decided two additional ‘Recognition Trophies’ would also be awarded. The first Recognition Trophy was awarded to Greg and Deb Harm for their outstanding work in Region 3. Region 3 was described as one where ‘the membership has increased exponentially…and ‘where the ‘recipe' is inclusive, friendly, open and welcoming…’ Those views were echoed over several separate nominations.

The second Recognition Award was presented to John Evans from Region 19 for the high level of improvement, moving a very impressive 15 places from feedback gathered in the Annual Membership Survey.

The winner of the Sheffield Trophy however was Catlin Adams and George Mayson on behalf of Region 2. Despite an exceptionally challenging geographical spread they were responsible for the delivery of 58 events including over 20 club nights and 36 standalone events last year, oferring something for everyone.

Nice one Greg and Deb.
See you all soon.

Mark and Sally.
