We loved it so much in April - we're going back later this month!

Yes, the October Meet'nDrinks session brings you Cars, Coffee, Cake & Chat at the Blue Whale Café in "Ashby's of Salcombe", on the A381 between Malborough and Salcombe in South Devon. We held our second friends' meeting there in April and it was a great success, so as you can never get enough of a good thing, we'll be going again on Thursday 24th October. Arrive anytime after 10.30hrs and stay until you leave! The full breakfast menu is now available until 16.00hrs, but there's also lunch for those who'd like it and of course tea, coffee and cake available throughout. There's still loads of free parking, plenty of room to sit and chat plus lots of retail opportunity next door to the Cafe, including fresh fruit and veg and meat from Salcombe Butchers. If the weather turns kind there are fine views to enjoy from the café verandah. To get there, find your way to Kingsbridge, take the road to Salcombe ( A381). At the village of Malborough there's a sharp left bend by a garage, and about a mile further on, Ashby's is the prominent retail building on the left-hand side. It's a great destination for an interesting drive and just the tonic you need at this time of year. Let's make it a bumper turnout - SEE YOU THERE!
