Well it all started for us all departing from different locations. Some of us decided to go on the Chunnel Crossing & the rest of us departed from Hull on the overnight crossing to Zeebrugge.

Day 1 - We all met up in Stuttgart in the Kongress Hotel where we all were briefed over dinner & a drink. Once we all had our "Tour Packs & Rally Plates" we retired for a well earned sleep.

Day 2 - We all went to the Porsche Factory (on two separate groups & times) This was all pre-arranged & went very smoothly. The factory was just amazing especially for those who have never been prior. Seeing all models & colours being assembled on one floor including race prep cars & GT3RS's ! For those who were afternoon visit we all gathered directly outside the Museum for a Photo-shoot. A big thank you to the Museum for allowing us to leave out cars there throughout the visit. After the visit we had a long drive to Arabba to our pre-booked hotel (Evaldo Hotel) It was late when we arrived & the hotel had our dinner prepared for us.

Day 3 - All cars washed & cleaned & ready for our first day of passes which included Pordoi, Sella, Gardena, Campolongo, Falzarego, Valparola & back to Campolongo as we did this in a figure of eight. We were all pleased that Mike & Sara Clark joined us for a couple of days & to introduce them to our exciting tours. I'm sure they will be joining us next year as they are both welcome.

Day 4 - We all set off for Cortina taking in the passes of Pordoi, Fedaia, Staulanza, Giau & Falzarego before arriving at Cortina D'Ampezzo. After yet another welcome coffee break we set off for Passo Tre Croce, Cimabanche & returning to Cortina before heading back to the Evaldo Hotel. Sadly some of us were involved in a 3 car accident. I was stationary when one of our tour members decided not to stop & crashed into the back of my car, then to top this off another member went into the back of him. We all must remember these tours are not races but "enjoyable" experiences & must always concentrate !.

Day 5 - Stelvio Pass today & it was a long drive to get there & back but once you’ve been up then down the pass it was all worth it. We added in Pordoi & Di Costalunga Passo to add to the fun.

Day 6 - We all departed Arabba & set off to Munich where we checked into our pre booked hotel (ArtHotel)

Day 7 - We all then went to the BMW Museum, again for those who haven't experienced this then it's a must for us "Petrol Heads"

Day 8 - We all set off to Saarbrucken, Germany for our final evening & de-briefing on the whole tour. Over dinner & a few beer we talked about out high points & lows.

Day 9 - After breakfast we all said our goodbyes & departed for our Crossings ......... until next year

Fortunately not in this incident but unfortunately for me I was injured in a separate incident! I was taking some shots of the cars at the resting point just before driving up the Stelvio Pass. I just thought, 'one last shot...' and that was when I slipped and fell on a grass verge and at the time thought it was a very bad sprain of my right ankle! (Driving shoes and grass inclines don't mix well). When I got back to the UK it turned out to be a spiral fracture of my fibula! Hopefully a full recovery in two more month's time!

Thank you for the complements on the photos [:)]
