Millbrook Performance Driver Training Friday 14 June
We have a cancellation for Friday 14 June when the third PCGB Millbrook session will take place.
Having taken part in the first group I can honestly say this was a rewarding day with all of us coming away with a bit more knowledge, new skills and a better understanding of the physics of performance driving.
Generally photography is not allowed but for the 14 June we have permission for a professional photographer to capture the 991's and the odd 992 being driven enthusiastically around the five challenging features of Millbrook. This will provide the promotional images for organising groups for the full membership.
The training is aimed at those who need a little more confidence to do track days and improving the skills of the more experienced. There is one to one tuition at all times, it is less risk than a track day and is covered for Lockton policy holders.
The cost of the full day is £430, there is only one place so I look forward to meeting the lucky person as I will be there as an observer.
Please email me at regional@porscheclubgb.com
Best wishes
Phil

Hi Everyone

Short notice opportunity ...... we have a PCGB group training day tomorrow & one of the attendees has had to pull out for family health reasons. Anyone available & interested in joining the day? Place cost is £430 including VAT. You need to be at Millbrook in Bedfordshire for an 08:15 start & will be sharing the day with 5 other peeps. Message, email or phone me if you'd like to know more & are interested in the place. I will also be offering this on the forums we work with, so it will be first come first served

Some of the Trustpilot reviews from fellow members after their recent attendance on this training day.

I recently spent a day with CAT participating in the Performance Driver "Track" Day at Millbrook. It was an excellent driving experience and a most enjoyable day. The team are friendly, welcoming and knowledgeable. They also keep you safe. For me the most interesting aspect of the day were the engineering explanations on why vehicles perform as they do particularly at high speed. A great day. - David Hamer

From the first phone call to Lynne and the last goodbye from Jo, Colin and Paul the day was just perfect.Very well balanced mix of the technical / engineering side of driving , track craft and a large helping of good humor.Group of six from PCGB (Cheers Phil) split in the two smaller groups spent the day finding out what our cars are really made of.Can't fault the day with CAT DT.and everybody left with a new level of confidence weather a seasoned track day driver or a Sunday morning cruiser.Colin and Paul will put you at ease from the start and carry on at your pace,Millbrook is the purfect setting for the CAT driving program and you will leave a better and more aware driver. - Audi Man

There’s no way to dress this up. If you want to get the most out of your performance car and experience things it can do that would quite simply not be possible anywhere other than a racetrack then this is the place to come. We had a fantastic day with a PCGB organised day recently. I met new friends and learnt what my GT3 feels like under limit conditions and most importantly how to enjoy them safely. I will be back for more. Thank you again. - Phil Farrell

Not as fast as the Interloper though ??????

I too can't speak highly enough of MPDT !!!
Your braking figures are particularly good: is that on Goodyear F1 Super Sports?
What is the engine warning light showing please?

Yes, Goodyear F1's, I think all the 992 cars are coming with them atm.

All the warning lights are on as I'd just turned the ignition on for the picture.
