Red Cars are targets

Research by retailer Halfords concluded that birds are more likely to defecate on red cars over their more subtle counterparts. The study, conducted across five major English cities, recorded the bird droppings on approximately 1,140 cars over a number of days. Red cars came off worst with 18% of red cars receiving the unwelcome mess, closely followed by blue cars (14%) and black cars (11%). Green cars faired best with just 1% coverage

Never really liked Red anyway!!

Did they do a study on how clean cars are? My local low flyers definitely prefer freshly washed and shiny targets!

Speaking of Liundudno the seagulls loved John Mcgirls red cab roof. :ROFLMAO:
I am sure you remember John.
Tracy has a red Z3 touch wood all good.

We have an extremely large Copper Beech in our front garden-not easy to move anywhere else so no matter where I put my Guards Red 924S ,the pigeons seem to creep to the very extremities of the branches where they taper down to almost twig size so that they are still able to bomb it.
Autumn is a nightmare as we also have two large Pyracanthus so the bombs contain large amounts of red berry material.
BMW is also a red shade so that too gets bombed as the branches reach right up the drive.
Only Irene's Grey 924S escapes as it gets the safe haven of the garage.??????
