Zenith Main Jet Holder?

Just managed to snap off my one of my Zenith 40TIN main jet holders whilst putting my carbs back together

Teach me to conduct delicate operations at 11:00pm after 3 cans of Bodingtons...

I can feel the straws being clutched at now, but does anyone have a spare? More than willing to offer hard cash.

Thanks from a muppet.

being a model maker (sometimes) I would try to put glue the 2 halves together and re-fabriacte any missing segments...

Have u considered having a go ? The part is not under any stress, so it's not like it has to be "strong" just permanent

Steve,
Thanks for the post, I considered getting the glue out but as it's constantly soaked in fuel I have doubts about any adhesive lasting the distance. One option is to get it brazed back together, it has to be reasonably strong as its under some tension to get the end to seal against the carb body...hence it snapped when your ham fisted writer tightened it up...[:)]

Option two is to get going on a lathe with some brass and make an alternative part...

Finding an alternative part from a similar carb is probably safer knowing my turning skills....
