Guys help please

My S2 seems to have gone into a limp home mode! it feels like the rev limiter has been reset to 4000 rpm. accelerate and it hit 4000 then the rev counter needle starts bouncing and it feel like you just hit a brick wall[:eek:]


Still having some idle issues having cleaned the idle control valve, not as bad but still there at times


Any clues?

Is this the same in every gear, including in neutral on a light throttle?
Is it at exactly the same RPM every time?

I would check the 3 pin connector for your flywheel sensor. Make sure it hasn't come loose and is only making partial contact.
