Winter is here and the GT 3 has gone

At this time of year my thoughts normally turn to Finland and driving on snow and ice. I have not posted for a while partly due to a hard disc failure and because i sold my GT 3. The latest effort on my videos is shown above and I hope it encourages you to give Camp 4 or Ice Force a try as there is simply nothing better you can do in a Porsche.

I am really missing my GT 3 as it was simply the best sports car I have ever owned and I loved every minute and every mile I did in it. There was so much about the car that was good and memorable. The noise it made, the steering, the attitude, the character, the brakes, the way it turned in, the unburstable Mezger engine, it was simply a peach. The SL that replaced it is more comfortable and practical and the management likes it but its no sports car and the steering is dead. A property transaction will keep me poor for a while but looking forward to seeing what the 991 GT cars will be like

It was a stunning GT3 (not helping I know ) and I'm sure Geoff is enjoying it as much as you did [:)]
and you'll still see it about [:D]

I'm sure the new cars will tempt you Bob, but certainly sympathise with the property/poor scenario! Would love to do Finland but it's not cheap...

I agree wholeheartedly with everything you've said Bob. The 997.2 GT3 is everything a sports car should be and, although I'm sure the 991 GT3 will be a fine car, unfortunately I don't think it will compare. PDK will bring a new dimension to the car as will the electric power assisted steering. Values have held up well so I'm in two minds whether to sell mine or not. I do know however that, if I sell it, I may live to regret it.

There are some great opportunities in the property market and, although your head is ruling your heart right now, I'm sure you'll once again own a car you will enjoy just as much as your GT3 ... even if you have to buy yours back! [:D]
