Looking to buy one. Has anyone used either of these?

They're cheaper than I was expecting - which is good - but don't want to buy a crappy one which doesn't last long

Opinions gratefully received [:D]

Cheers

Interesting idea, and I've always liked the idea of them.

Snag is that reading the first one (which is essentially an old towel with some bootlaces stitched onto it) I thought that you could make your own, using ... ahem ... an old towel with some bootlaces stitched onto it.

And then, reading the second one, I thought that you could make one of those as well, using an old towel with some old magnets stitched into the seam.

And then I wondered whether paying £15-£20 for one was such a good idea after all, given that I have old towels, bootlaces and magnets galore in my basement.

Oli.

I use these

LOL. Well I have towels and laces Oli but no magnets! [:D]

I thought these were supposed to be quite well padded and easy to wipe clean, so for the price of a towel and some boot laces/magnets it seemed like a good idea [8D]

Cheers for the link Scott. He makes a good point about magnets attracting metal bits that will scratch your paintwork!
