Windscreen replacement

Because of a creeping crack I need a new windscreen in my 2006 Cayenne Turbo (955), I will use the fitter my insurer requires, but how do I ensure the replacement is a genuine Porsche part?
The parts list quotes two types 955 541 111 03 (model I4GF) and 955 541 111 04 (model I4GY)????

Any help or info welcome!

thanks

Hi Tony

I went with the option of paying £100 rather than £75 excess and had mine done at Swindon OPC

Thanks Graham,
I got a quote from my OPC not cheap but doubled by the cost of "recalibration", I'm still waiting for them to come back and tell me what needs recalibrating on an early Cayenne.
Insured through Mannings with whom I've always been happy but if I use an OPC contribution is only £150.

Hi Tony

I'm with Manning too. Have been for many years with no issues
Mine was an 06 Turbo S and no calibration and it had everything on it
Mine was £811.54 with Vat
The Contribution has gone up since I had mine done then.
Best way to guarantee and genuine screen

Graham

Had my Boxster screen replaced at an OPC some years ago (using Lockton, as I recall with no additional excess) but the part appeared to be proprietary and I don't think that there was anything to mark the original one as being 'genuine' either. They used their regular subcontractor, although you would like to think that they were working to OPC standards.
