Which sports seats?

Mines going to Chris Franklin on Tuesday for a geo and corner weighting, etc. how did you find the results? Or were the kw fitted by him too?

Edd

KW's were fitted by Chris too. Car is much improved. But I still want to make further improvements so it handles much more like a 'new car'. Hence my other post re engine mount and transmission mounts.

I'm meeting Jon at JMG next month and asking him for his opinion on the condition of various parts. May change those too to get the car feeling the way I want.

Makes sense, I know what you mean, Promax said the gearbox mount on mine is on its way out and although the car feels tight, there is the odd movement that makes me think something needs addressing, I suppose with a 25 yr old car it could be a number of things, replacing bushes and mounts is probably a good starting point.

I am definitely not fat and I fit my sports seats fine , if anything if you are larger build you may have trouble with sports seata being comfortable.

Nck [:D]

They are basically Recaro poles retrimmed in leather to look like Porsche 964RS seats. Southbound trimmers did them for me.

I remember my 944T sports seats and in my view they are one of the most comfortable seats in a car I have experienced. Hundreds of miles in a sitting and felt fresh afterwards.

Not quite enough hip/thigh restraint for track days so you tend to get knackered quicker from bracing yourself.

Bucket seats are fine but you are 'held' in position without any adjustment so need to get the height/reach/recline setting exactly right for you and if you suffer from a need for lumbar support as do I (due to a long term back problem) you might need to add strategic support cushions (and they are a PITA to get in an out of in a low car)

Another question Edd, did you get Southbound Trimmers to cover the existing back seat in the same leather too? I am considering a trip to see them this summer.[:)]

I was going to say about the Sports seats. I am not the largest bloke these days, and they are very supportive. Christ a friend of mine is called a rake by many and he loved the Sports seats :). Swings and roundabouts with the regards to preferences though mind you :).

Lovely interior I must say Edd!
