Due to age rather than mileage I need to change all 4 tyres on my 1984 3.2 Carrera convertible.
i believe the originals were Pirellis which have been quoted at £720 for a set of 4 Pirelli N4 to include fitting and VAT.
However, I have also been quoted for Michelin N rated tyres for Porsche, which are £478 for a set of 4.
This is is quite a difference, but my 3.2 is a very low mileage and original car and I am unsure if the possible saving for the non original tyres would make a difference to the handling of the car or it’s future value.
I would be be grateful for your thoughts and experiences with Michelin tyres.
