Cheers in advance.

p.s. dosent have to be a porsche seat if anyone can recommend another?

When my daughter was tiny the only seat that fitted was made by Recaro. Recaro Prinz rings a bell, but that might simply be a model that I have seen since.

Porsche certainly dont offer them new any longer (along with 944 tow bars and roof racks), but I wouldnt be surprised if a current Recaro model fitted too. The model in question wasnt ever suitable for infants though, only for about six months onwards. Theyre only suitable for babies if theres no one else in the car; and thats far from ideal.

Presumably congratulations are in order [:)]
We have a Maxi Cosi Cabrio. It wont fit in the back so as I couldnt find anything else that did fit in the back I bought a Maxi Cosi Familyfix non-isofix base for the front seat. The base is fixed firmly to the seat using the seat belt and then the seat snaps onto the base. I have the isofix base in the Alfa. Although it's a bit expensive having to buy 2 bases at least I only need one seat.
Doesnt answer your specific question but is at least a safe alternative.

hi cheers for the replies, id been looking at Recaro young profi plus, theres one near me so I may try that one.

Congratulations are not needed yet, but are imminent, as shes 6 days overdue now [&:]

good luck with the imminent arrival! As far as I know there are no rear facing seats that fit in the back - let us know if you find one,
Tony

There aren't any rear facing seats that will go in the back of anything other than a modern Porsche, and then almost certainly not a 911.

The Romer Prince which was badged up for various other brands will fit but is from about 9 months only. There are also various boosters that will fit.

Sadly you will have to wait until your imminent arrival is a lot older or leave mum at home. You can just about get a carrier rear facing in the front seat.
