Got them back from platinum wheels in reading took four days and cost just over three hundred. Really pleased with the job got them to paint them a darker silver and I love it.

Looks very nice. I'm so much happier with siver alloys on a 944 then last-years fashion of dark colours. Sorry , just my opinion.

And the crest points towards the valve. Concourse purists will love it!

I just thought on a white car silver just gets lost and looks boring

I agree, it's very colour-sensitive. Hard to tell how much darker the silver is in the pic above, but white cars do call out for graphite-coloured wheels, Fuchs, polished rims, or at least coloured crests IMO.

No they didn't paint the crest they are new and metal ones got them from ebay. I know they don't match exactly but I'm happy they look a lot nicer than they did. This is the first time I've done anything on a car. I'm really keen to learn how to do stuff and get things done i can't. So not going to be perfect right away.

I used to loathe chrome wheels, but since I saw a set of D90s like yours the other day on a turbo S I have to say they can look really nice if the colour of the car is "right".

I think the rather dull appearance of the D90s coupled with the bling factor of chrome balance each other reasonably well.

Stunning, love your attention to detail, bolts, lockers and centres all look mint, wheels maketh the car..! lovely
