Hiya, could any one tell me if i am correct in the front wheel stud size on my 86 2.5 .... M14 x 1.5 / 20mm head and spline 14.7 mm. if any one can help, before i take them out i could order them ready.......... Thanks............

Why do u require new studs? Iv got a complete set. As I swapped them over 2 longer ones 4 some 993 cups that required spacers.

Iv also got hubs with longer studs All ready fitted if required?

Hiya, i now have Boxster alloys on and they sit to far in, so i am going to bring them out by approx 15 - 20 mm. I have several sets of wheel spacers but need extended studs to fit them.
I can buy 70mm Porsche studs, but they only know the size not the Porsche they fit. I need the car for next week so hoped i could get some to fit at weekend.

Thanks for the reply. Phil

I did this with 993 cups. Its quite a pain, there I used steel hollow nuts 2 pull the new studs though. I can't rember how much they where but I got them from EMC

It takes a lot longer then u think, u need 2 take apart the rear hand brake shoes.

Anyway I. Got some hubs with the studs all ready fitted, hubs are checked and true.

If there ome studs I should think there 2 short 4 spacers as the alloy but arnt hollow.

Also using the steel nuts, I place 2 stud in with a nut on both, and a ring spanner over one nut 2 protect the thread. Then used a short scaffold pole 2 sleve the ring spanner, and lock the hub against the pole and ground. Then I could use the force needed 2 pull though another stud
