Wheel Refurb - Results . . .

Just had my cast alloys refurbed and (apologies in advance to purists) repainted in BMW Diamond Black (a very very very dark grey metallic, perhaps with a browny tint). Looks great, as the flat silver didn't do the Crimson Red justice.

I'm reasonable certain not everyone here will like them though!

Ditto, without all the reflections

Do you think he will be able to get a photo where they don't reflect?

I'm a big fan of gloss black wheels but I've never really liked that design. Be really good to see a pic of the whole car [:)]

Best effort photo #2! Really struggling to capture Crimson Red in this light!

I thought of losing the side stripes but my wife likes them so they stay. Also going to try tyre black, which I have never liked, as the dark wheels make my pretty recent Contis look . . . well, tired.

Other work this year was new engine mounts and a front suspension renewal (new shocks, castor mounts and ARB bushes).

Thanks for the pics Octo, I like those wheels a lot better when I see the whole car and I think the script in white works well on a red car.
