Cant help you with the value unfortunately Gerry. What diameter are these caps? I'm looking out for a set of centres I can use on my Fondmetals[;)]

Bit scruffy what are they worth??

Gerry

I'd say they were 7.5cm across (3" in old money) I will put them on Fleabay for £15 and see if they fly. Or if you want to try them I'll give them to Tom this weekend, he'll bring them back to P'bro later in the week and you can see if they fit? Cheers Gerry

I will have them for £15 Gerry, if I may? Fondmetal wheels should have a protuding cap IIRC - they stuck out by about an inch and bit. I had a set on my hillclimber years and years ago (but ditched them as they weighed a ton!). Simon

They are yours Simon, I'll give them to Tom this weekend, he's here putting new suspension mods and brake pipes on the car. I think he'll be back in P'bro by next weekend. Gerry

Ahh, I think there may be too many Simons on this forum! Simon (944man) is in Sheffield. [:)]

Whoops, I've now got two lots who want them, I'll put them on Fleabay and post the link here, that'l sort it out.

Sorry, totally overlooked the fact that we're both called Simon. I dont believe that theyll fit Simons wheels, as I had a set myself and the centres were completely different; and because of this I expressed my interest. Simon (simdel1) obviously has first shout, but should they not be suitable then I would be interested in them, as their patina perfectly matches that on my old telephone dials... [:D] Simon
