Somehow or other the end part of my driving/fog light on my S2 has gone missing you know the clear part that you unscrew to take the lense off to change the bulob)

I'm not actually sure what its called so dont know how to search for it to buy one

its the inside part near the number plate of the drivers side

Anyone got one for sale or know where i can get one or what its even called ?

I'm really embarressed to admit I threw them away yesterday........... []

Having removed the lights from my ex road legal race car.

Before I make any more mistakes are any of these useful to anyone?

Cheers Gerry!

Couldn't get PM to work! I have sent an e-mail.

Thanks

I've always called them fog lamp trim pieces and so do type911 who sell them for £28 a set though I think this will be one of those parts that will be cheaper at the OPC

Maybe the breakers like Alasdair and Elliot have some for even less?

When I needed a plastic back for the fog lamp a couple of weeks ago I was watching the lamp units (2nd hand) sell for £90 each on Ebay!

Yes very probably, I was giving them away but ended up subsidizing the postage..............................

But that Scotsman for you................. :)

They are called "trim cover set" - PNs are
951 631 931 00 Left side white
951 631 932 00 Right side white
or
951 631 933 00 Left side yellow
951 631 934 00 Right side yellow

I've only seen white ones but apparently amber lenses are available....
I would have included the page from the catalog but for some reason I can't copy /past it.

is there a thread for wanted parts ?

i need a set of linen standard speaker covers to get shot of some awful Blaupunkt sapce age things someone has fitted

Yes mate the spares listing thread. Advertising your buying and selling on there is usually the best way to do it.

Yes, that was a simple hangover induced mistake! I could barely see on Saturday morning and have done awfully well to get everything right except the pence denominator in the transaction!![&:]
