What Suspesion Upgrades...?

Uniball between trailing arms and rear axle
Delrin bushes on spring plates
Old standard rubber bushings on the rest
Everything standard at the front
Car very much lowered (too much according to the guy who adjusted the car, who said it was a pain to get right, and he is a KW dealer who had done tens of cars before)

To my surprise it wasn't anymore noisy than a standard car.
It wasn't before I gave the wheel back to the owner that he mentioned these mods, but yes the car drove like a real go kart. In comparison my turbo drives like a rotten stick of wood, even on KW V3 too...

Like it say's on the tin. I am taking the Turbo back to JMG next week to get the KW V3 suspension fitted and the geometry set up before we head for the Nurburgring in the middle of May

Pete, how are you getting on with the KW's now? What stiffness are they set to and do you find them too hard for roads with poor surfaces? I am considering the same shocks but purely for road use. I have heard they will be firmer than my M030 Konis but will ride the road surface better

Bob, I have kw's on my S2, I've not had the m030's on my car so can only compare to stock. The kw's at their factory settings whilst firm are a good compromise between compliance and improved handling. Although how the car drives on a and b roads will also depend on how the geo is set up after fitment. My advice would be to start at the kw factory settings and if you find it too much for the roads you drive on, adjust out a click to 2 and try again.

If CG are doing the fitting for you, he will let you try the settings first on a test drive and adjust to how you want them to be. He will also set up the car for a + b roads during the geo, for fitting the kw's he is difficult to beat.
