What MAF Sensor

Isn't the KLR just Turbo, Scott?

Tom, the KLR is a second ECU box that handles boost control on the Turbo. As indicated above I don't believe the NA cars have them at all.

Ah right. The info I need now then is what the DME does to compensate for temperature. I wonder if it just adds a fixed percentage air mass for that temperature and injects accordingly.

Yep, I hadn't realised were'nt talking turbo. I must get my eyes tested! Sorry for leading you up the garden path Tom. Though hasn't the S2 knock sensors so should have a KLR?? I seem to remember Rick C posting during a discussion about knock sensors that the S2 has a better knock sensor setup than the turbo as it has two. Anyway, we digress.

The S2 does have 2 knock sensors, though I think they link into the main ECU (DME). Actually the Turbo (and probably S2) block has a stud for 3 knock sensors. I had 3 on mine waiting to be wired up when it exploded [&:][:(]

Right, back on topic as this is quite interesting... I don't know the answer to the question you pose though, Tom.

I'm not even sure the afm temp sensor exists on mine, as pin 22 from on the dme plug gives me infinite resistance to any other connections. It may just use coolant temp or the pin out is wrong.
