What catalyst sizes will a Turbo accomodate

Hi,

just stumbled across a cheapish 100 Cell metal catalyst on ebay http://www.ebay.de/itm/261090481828?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649
It makes me wonder what size catalyst that actually can be fitted to our Turbos (and other nice 944s [:)])
Size is stated as 150x320mm but as my car is in the workshop for the Winter I can not measure myself what space is actually free to use.

Does anyone know if this could be a direct fit?

Cheers

Niels

Better just to de-cat the car, really. All 944Ts are of an age that they are not required to have catalysts (assuming you are in the UK).

Cheapo cats burn out quickly so ditch it for a cat bypass, the cat mid section on the 944 is a fair weight.

I live in Denmark and need the catalyst every year for what equals your MOT.
Anyone happen to know the dimensions of the originl catalyst?

/Niels
