well what should i paint the 912 in

I say paint it whatever colour you like - after all it wasn' t in its original colour (Light Ivory) when you bought it & it didn' t deter you did it ?

I' d go for the slate grey - looks great with a red interior & it' s quite a rare colour to see early 911' s & 912' s in these days.

I think slate grey, detailed fuchs and red interior would be ..... sweet as.

However I feel very hypocritical after posting replies on the classic forum telling people that they should keep original colour hmmmm hmmmm.

Since I' ll see the car more than most - go for slate grey!

If it was still Ivory then I think I;d force you to keep it that way however, its going to look v mean ish ish!

You see! This colour choice game is hard when you have to make a decision.

I voted Ivory in your poll because (apart from the fact that it' s the original colour) I feel black and slate are a bit dour. As you have a red interior, it does restrict you a bit. I hate to say this, but Silver does look good with red trim.

I' m going to enjoy mine over the summer and go original Olive in the Autumn.
