went off today to be blasted and powdercoated in a nice shade of satin black []

Had to do something as im waiting for my m8s workshop so i can get the old gal welded up and painted

Gavin where did u get all your engine stickers i know u can get them on ebay but cant be bothered to many t****rs on there who just knock u for money

O i forget to tell u all its going to be SLATE GREY []

Roger Bray does most of the stickers for the engine + bay, there is a list on his web site.

Talking of tin ware does anyone else have problems with in squeaking on the exhaust, my sags like a pair of old .......

Jon, do you have the two brackets either side of the silencer that attach to the tinware?

Gavin, not sure, I haven' t seen anything like that. but then I have realy looked. Any chance of a pic with them pointed out?

Either side of the silencer are two brackets which
a. hold the silencer to the tinware
and
b. keep the tinware pushed up against the rubber seal around the engine bay.

without these the tin will flap around as will the silencer.
If you have a bursch etc you may need to make something to do a similar thing.

My silencer doesn' t flap about but my tin ware sure does, I on the case to get some made. I just thought the big gap to the seal was old age sag, I didn' t want to upset the old thing by looking to much.

Just to let you know, the cars back on the road after a major 3 cylinders only incident, happy once more.
