Warranty Expiry looms!

So far have had an air vent brake on me, the driver's seat pump (adaptive sports seat) and some spark plugs / coil packs! All in all approx £1.300 in extra expenses on a 54 plate. All 3 of them are Porsche nonsense, none covered by the extended warranty.
 
I would advocate taking the warranty out - I have just taken my second extended warranty out, and it is real peace of mind.
Compare (as Rob points out) it with BMW/TVR/Ferrari ext warranty and it really does seem reasonable value (didn't help me with paint bubbling on my roof rail though!) especially if you value the European breakdown - I'd rather an OPC in France deal with an issue rather than 'Oily Bertrand' turning up with his low-loader and obligatory Gauloise!
I also believe that if Porsche can see you value your car and look after it, it may well help in cases of 'goodwill'.
I know it's a chunk of cash, but if you don't, you know the inevitable will happen![:mad:]
