As it says chaps. After smashing one in half my replacement is now leaking. :(

Car being slammed is not helping this issue!!

At the risk of stating the obvious all the getabix oil cooler does is get the oil outbid the box under pressure from the pump circulate it around a pigs tail loop of finned pipe then dump it back in the box. For the majority of the time the cooling needed is limited, as unless ur hammering around corners and creating lock/ friction in the LSD the oil won't get overheated.

So my suggestion would be, buy the smallest 10 row oil cooler you can find then take some measurements on how much braided steel hose you'll need to connect it up so that it sits supported but out of the way. Then take the old cooler pipes to a local hydraulic firm such as pirtek and ask then to graft the gearbox end fitments onto appropriate bore size braids hose.

Won't cost you more than £100 all in ! Oh and the the new cooler system won't be 25yrs old !

Yes stating the obvious but a good shout! May well go down that road if I can't get a working cooler.

Cheers

Bit of a hijack but related, my 220 diff oil cooler pipe was leaking (lower) i replaced tho o ring where the pipe enters but it still has a weep, any suggestions what i can put on the tube when i take it off again to cure the weep.
I was thinking of SWAK which is a heavy grease type pipe sealant ?
