Wanted: bit of special help please

My 987.2CS is running parallel with you, purchased new in late 2009, although my mileage is about a third of yours.🙄

I’m a bit long in the tooth for crawling around on my back under cars, but I’ve often wondered what’s going on with all the coolant and brake pipes under the trays. Probably best just to keep wondering ATM.

I checked the dates on my Pirelli P-Zero tyres the other day: 2015 on the fronts and 2017 on the rears!😳 The car’s garaged and there’s no evidence of cracking due to UV deterioration and the tread depths are still legal by some margin, but time for a change I reckon. It’s a toss-up between the Michelins and Continentals, the latter being significantly cheaper and apparently a match for the Michelins in all respects other than a faster wear rate, which really isn’t a major consideration for me owing to a low annual mileage.

Ditto on loaning stuff to people. I never did get that cement mixer back!😀

Keep us posted on progress.
