Hi,
I'm looking for a 1988 silver 924S in good condition, preferably F reg, with PAS ( pvt plate would be nice!)
Please email me with details and pic if possible (srz@talk21.com).
Cheers

Hello Shad

Good to speak to you on the 'phone today.
Might be a good idea to post on the "Members Wanted" part of the forum, but I'm not sure if you can 'see' that if you aren't a full forum member.

Good luck with your (continuing) search - your car is out there somewhere - will let you know if I hear of one.

Thanks a lot Paul, it was very nice to have spoken with you and thanks again for all your helpful hints. I don't know why I 'm being listed as a non-member as I have provided full details. As you say I can't see members 'wanted' column.

I'm not sure you'd describe it as Silver but the only late one I know of is Tony Ryan's car, and I saw a post of his recently enquiring about buying a 964, so maybe it'll be available?????

Tony, hope you don't mind me suggesting this [;)]

Phil

Hi Tony
Thanks for your emails. Tried to email you twice, but got a delivery failure on both occasions.
Is it poss to see pics from outside and the interior, as I am particularly interested in having the original teledials and steering.
Where are you situated?

Thanks Phil for pointing out to tony

Shad

Hi Shad, I'll take some photos the weekend, where do I send them? I live down Brighton way, south coast.

Hi Tony and Shad, sorry to go off topic momentarily...

Tony, yes I sold it about 5 weeks ago to a guy from Bicester. I've not go a Porsche at the moment, busy getting the new business off the ground so no spare cash. As Arnie said, though "I'll be back" - not sure when though, but keep an active eye on the forum.

OT over, back to you Shad [:D]

cheers all, Phil

Thanks Tony,
Please use same email to send pics and also mileage.
Re phil's comment about not being silver, can you confirm what colour it is exactly? I am very keen on zermatt silver
Thanks

Shad

I'm only going from memory which dates back a few months. I recall it as being very slightly the bronze/champagne side of silver (does that make sense). I'm actually sitting here looking at my R23 calender, which just happens to have a pic of the very car on March !

Thats really helpful, I think I get the idea, as I saw a champagne 924 a couple of years ago.

Shad

Thanks Paul& Phil, could'nt have put it better myself! I've got an idea it's Zermatt silver metallic, but not certain.

Tony
I think what Phil is suggesting will confirm the colour
On another point, I am receiving and sending mail to other 924 owners who have sent me pics, but everytime I email you I get a non-delivery message. Very puzzling.
