Hi all,

I've been trying to rectify a slight steering wheel shake at around 80. (read that as 70 or private land officer[:)]) I've had all 4 wheels balanced and now think it may be down to a slight buckle on one of my rear rims. I tried to have it straightened but the buckle is "off the rim". Not 100% sure what that means but they've said it cant be fixed. I think it means it's not a flat spot but rather the rim is slightly warped/buckled.

Does anyone have a spare 8Jx16 Cup rim. ET52 offset please? I think the full part number is 944.362.116.00 . Here's a pic of my one:

Thanks

Craig. From memory the spare was the same design. Can you use that instead?

Oddly I never noticed this although perhaps I am just to law-abiding on Her Majesty's highways ;)

Cheers James - no the spare is a space saver type affair. Have managed to source a set now though so if it sorts it I'll sell the 3 good ones off. Only a small buckle but I can notice something through the steering wheel. Starting to think I'm maybe a bit too fussy for porsche ownership :)
