Vid of on track action Friday@Castle Combe

Its a Sparco Rev, slightly wider round the kidneys than the Cobra suzuka I sit in. Kevin can drive my car so as long as you have race snake hips your in mate [:)].

BTW I won't have it in for Silvrstone as I am preparing myself for the races there, its another watch this space job to see if my invitation drive goes through (the club championship guys will be chasing me down). Hugely excited about this one like I have never been before about racing.

Neil,Hope you and Mr F had a good day!!!!,my day sucked!,little pug wasn't happy as she coasted into the pits,I am praying it's head gasket,it's already partially stripped...will know more tommorow fingers crossed for a sub 500 quid bill[][&o]
The highlight of the day for me and Paz was a trip to little Chef...!
Always next Wednesday test day I suppose!![:)]

I did feel a bit for you guys, to have a mechanical disaster so early in the day really does suckola.

I had a good few sessions, went much faster in the afternoon really just by stringing it all together better and being more comfortable / relaxed in the car. For some reason that I can not fathom though I am loosing a lot of time compared to some other race cars in the low speed sections, only noticed in the afternoon as I was matching quite a few cars through the faster sections, or like the clio cup car actually catch him back up a bit on the straights then he must have been putting handfuls of seconds on my car in those tricky low speed bits. Don't know how much is me how much is the car setup etc. or even perhaps how much is just comparing fundamentally different cars.

Overall I have come home happy though as I can definitely push a bit harder, go a bit faster and then my pace will be OK. Car needs a more aggresive setup and an LSD though for full on racing. I only run 3 degrees camber on the front for example as driving it on the road is wearing the tyres back to flat.

Paul seemed happy with his day despite nursing a cold.

I had my video camera on, unfortunately the battery run out before the last couple of sessions. I will post some up from the morning on youtube latter though when I was experimenting with different gears in a few places.

Thats Pugs for you, every time it does it is the last time, till the next time:ROFLMAO:Glad you both had a good day sounds like you had fun[:)]
