I have insured my 991 Carrera S with Adrian Flux. It is an agreed value policy and they proposed a value of £50k. I didn't agree and provided my PCGB valuation of £55k. They have chosen not to recognise this and have asked me to get a valuation from ".....a member of the Institute of Automotive Engineers and Assessors or a valuation from www.classiccarvaluations.co.uk." Can someone recommend an assessor please? the classic Car Valuations site is a guy called Julian Schoolheifer who does carry out classic car valuations but is really a Series Land Rover restorer! I wonder what he knows about 8 year old Porsches! Help please as Adrian Flux say that until I provide a further valuation they won't even honour the original agreed value of £50k!!

I have had a club valuations done of my Porsche's for years with no problems at all with Lockton insurance.
Maybe its time to look for another insurer who would accept the clubs valuation.

I have used club valuations with both Lockton and A Manning for a number of years, 2 cars, with no problems. Suggest you try another insurer.
