Hi Everyone. I am seeking some advice. I bought my 997.2 in 2017 as a Used Approved vehicle from Porsche. Very soon after purchase, it was put into storage for the next 7 years as I was posted overseas for work. I took the car out of storage last week and there was a radial star crack in the rear bumper. I have since had the bumper off and there is damage and filler underneath. Over time, the filler has cracked and this is showing through to the paint. I have only put 2,000 miles on the car in the last 7 years and never been involved in an incident. In fact, the photos show that there is no impact on the bumper....it has come from underneath.
Do I have a case in going back to Porsche on this? I was never informed on the condition but maybe this would not have been covered on the 111-point inspection? I feel a bit let down and am now worried that cracks might appear in the future.
