Hi guys,

Sorry for the late update but been very busy. We booked both hotels last night please see further details below.

The hotel we will be staying in near the tunnel is http://www.conningbrookashford.co.uk/. Its twenty minutes easy drive to the tunnel. We decided to go with this one as it has better facilities than the original one we had in mind. It's £30 per couple more for the two nights but has a better menu and parking (hope this is ok) and is £67.50 dinner, bed and breakfast per person per night (slightly different for singles Kenny). We've paid the deposits to secure the rooms - £10 per room. It's also a Shepherd Neame Hotel so should have good beer on tap which is always good!

The Hotel de France is also booked. We've paid the first deposit to secure the rooms. This is £110 per room. It is their policy for group bookings to have the rooms paid for in advance so a second deposit is due in April and the final balance in July. The second deposit will be £110, the third will depend on what room you booked. This includes your breakfasts, so all you'll have to pay for at the hotel is drinks and meals.

So total deposit to be paid is £120 per room. Please can you pay this at the October, November or December club meetings

We'll be posting menus nearer the time. If anyone has any dietary requirements or allergies, please can you let us know so we can inform the hotels in advance.

The tunnel not yet bookable for September but we'll keep an eye on the site and let you know when we can book.

Any questions give us a shout.
