Put her in the garage as its looking like some bad weather is on the way. Shut the wooden door and a child seat that had been balanced on the rafters for months ( i for got it was up there TBH) fell down on the bonnet of the car. Its very heavy and has left two nasty dinks on the bonnet. No paintwork is broken but being on the bonnet they are right in your eye line. I'm absolutely gutted !

Oh that sucks :( are the dents creased or would the spray area with compressed air in a can and hair drier trick work to pop the dent out?

I think a dent man 'might' be able to do them but of course up goes the budget. I have lots too do on the car as it is and really cant be adding too much to the cost. It's really gutting the bonnet has lasted 27 years and I go and do that to it !

Paintless dent removal may work. I hope so.

Got me an upwards dent out off mine a few months after respray, shut the bonnet down with the power steering lid on the strut.

If the paint hasn't cracked a good dent removal guy will fix it for you for little money. I've had my car done a number of times over the years. In fact when I bought the car it had two dents in one rear panel that he removed without fuss and over the last 14 years he has removed a number of others, some pretty bad and all have disappeared, problem is on checking my phone to give you his number it's not there...lol It may still be on one of my old phones , I'll have a look later. The point is with today's flexible paint most dents that have not cracked can be fixed, you just need someone who knows his job well.

Gutted, know how you feel. Had my old 911 in a wood and asbestos garage. Slammed the door and my old wooden Alba radio jumped off a shelf and made a nice triangle shaped dent in the top of the nearside wing [:'(]
