195/65 R15 91W is an approved size for the 7x15 wheel on front engined Porsches. The current Porsche approved (N rated) tyres are Pirelli P6000 2 (N1) and Dunlop SP Sport FastResponse (N0). I see that Camskill are listing the Pirelli and also a Goodyear Excellence in N0 rating. Got some 195/65 R15 Continental PremiumContact 2s on my Teledials. However I can't comment on what they're like as I'm yet to get the thing out on the road but they were about £70 a corner from my local tyre place.
Hi All,
My Tyres need replacing at the front in the next few weeks and at the back I have Ying Yong industries super-ditch finders.. So I was going to change the lot. The ones on there are 215/60/15 front and back but the car tends to tramline slightly and as I don't drive at mach 4 with my hair on fire I was considering a return to 195/65/15 (Is that the correct size); anyway my question(s) are this ..
Are 195s okay for the car? Which makes of tyres are people happy with? I use Continentals on the BMW and Triumph and they seem fine..

I'd vote for the Goodyears... I have Dunlop SP Sport Fast Responses on my daily driver Golf in 55 profile and the sidewall flex is most unpleasant, I shudder to think what they'd be like in 65 profile. P6000s... errr.... no, thanks; I like staying on the tarmac.ORIGINAL: Lowtimer 195/65 R15 91W is an approved size for the 7x15 wheel on front engined Porsches. FWIW my S2 was on Bridgestone S-02 when I got it, and I'm very happy with them. Comfortable enough for normal road use, grippy enough for the occasional track days, our annual blast up Prescott hillclimb, or this year's session at Curborough!! . Can't comment on size....they're 16" of course, and width/section is standard as per the handbook. They seem to be wearing well so far.

I run the 195/65/15 V-Rated ContiPriemiumContact 2s on my 944 and have been very pleased after 10k. Quiet, plenty of grip especially in the wet and around 1kg lighter (per corner) than the worn 215/60s I replaced.ORIGINAL: Lowtimer Not quite the same size but I have just run off a set of V-rated PremiumContact 2 in 205/55 16 on my BMW 3 series and they have been very good indeed.
