Tyres

I thought this would have been a subject discussed before, but I couldn't find a thread. My 924S is likely to be needing tyres within the next few months. I've got Goodyear Eagle NCT2 at the moment and a local garage is offering Goodyear F1 at about £45 a corner which seems reasonable. But there must be some strong views on the best car/tyre combo.
I don't do a high mileage but I would prefer good handling to economy!

Since discovering them, I have migrated from Bridgestone re71 via Avon Z1s to their latest tread pattern ZZ3. My lux has Z1s on le mans wheels, and corners frighteningly quick in the wet, and the last set lasted about 30,000. My turbo has ZZ3s on the back on boxter s wheels and Z1s on the front, and it is the same story. I've just bought the rears about six weeks ago. 225/50 x 16 at £95 each. Not in the same price range as a 45 quid tyre but at 195 by what is it 60 x 15 they could be close on price

Hi,
I'm also looking for tyres (on the back) for my 924S.
I'm currently trying to decide between Pirelli P6000's and Yokohama A539's.
Does anyone have any advice on which to go with/ other recommendation around the £70 region?

Thanks
Sian
