Tyre Sizes

I'm going to try a different set or go back to standard springs.I want to be able to use the car,and a few of my favorite roads are to undulating for a car that low.

If they are progressively wound I didn't find much difference between the standard and the eibachs - they just firmed up faster which meant shorter travel downwards meaning the sump reached a similar point as standard. Tony

some pics I dug out (phone cam quality was rubbish back in 02/03) next to the originals

cant find a good side on pic with wheels fitted though

Defo going to go back to standard springs.I'll go in tomorrow morning and change the springs (only takes about an hour to do both) once I get the springs out Ill get the part no off of them and have a word with eibach. I measured today from center of the wheel to the arch is only 27 cm. Alan's is sitting at 31 cms on lowered springs,so mine is 40 mm lower than his.

Normal lowering average is about 40mm and the cars sit nice with decent ground and wheelarch clearance but will scuff on some steep speed bumps but also take into account whether you re-index the rear torsion bar or not [link=http://www.porscheclubgbforum.com/tm.asp?m=726700&mpage=4&key=&#736977]See this thread[/link]
