Tyre sizes for 18" Cup Mags

I have picked up a nice set of 18" Speedline split Mag rims for the RS. Am I right in thinking some 225/40/18 and 265/35/18 tyres are required? Will 265s fit in the arches? I know 225 fit the front on 17" wheels.
I was going to go for slicks but limits me to Race use so will go for MPCs.

Thanks,

Charles

charles ask ollie - he's just fitted some 18" split rim replicas with toyo 888's

Yes....265/35. Easy fit.

Did you get 9.5" rears or 10?

Hi Charles

You'll be fine with those sizes, the R888's are exactly that.

No problem with filling out the arches, I think the RS was made for them

ORIGINAL: chfs911

Proper 18" RS Mags are 9.5" and 8" from Carrera Cup 93

Thanks for confirmation.

Charles

So is that what you managed to find?

If so.....a great find. What kinda condition?

Mint as totally refurbished by my race mechanics. The guys were poring over them in my boot at Spa last week.

I didn't realise what I had bought until then!
