Tyre Recommendations

I am looking to put new tyres on my 993 RS and would appreciate some advice on the best all round tyre for road use. So far the Michelin Pilot Sport 2 seems to be the one I would go for but would appreciate some experienced views on whats best. This is purely for road use to have good grip and compliance in all conditions.

  • sorry Tom its me again !
  • suggest pirelli rosso s , lot cheaper than Michelin i suspect , very reasonable wear , excellent balance for wet or dry , even used at track days and not looked sillier than usual!...........even sillier i d go 29/34 for day to day use

Vic, good to hear from you. Thanks for the recommendation, for some reason I don't seem to be getting notification of any replies. I have gone for the PS2 but will try some different pressures to get the feel I want. The car is now pulling slightly to the right despite having the geometry set by JAZ, I can only assume the new tyres have something to do with this. My local independent is good and I trust him, the car is booked in next week to have it checked.
